Why Our Program Works

The Pre-Apprenticeship — curriculum spans 12 projects over three years, developed by the Carpenters Union and built around assessments and rubrics that make it easy to track student progress toward real trade skills.

Everything about the program is designed to be safe and portable — Workboards protect classroom tables, hammers are child-sized, and safety glasses protect students' eyes throughout every project — so any room can become a working shop space without permanent setup or dedicated equipment.

Training is annual and in-person, and no CTE certification is required to lead the program. Teachers and staff get unlimited support, pacing guides, and access to online communities, so anyone can step in and run sessions with confidence from day one.

All project materials come ready to use, with no prep work required on your end. Shipments arrive every semester or year, timed to your school's storage space, so you're never managing more inventory than you can hold.

“It's overwhelming to implement any new curriculum, but having been here for 11 years, this is probably the easiest curriculum to implement on day one. Coming from someone who has zero experience, even building a bookshelf.”
