About Maplewoodshop & the Launch of MWS Studios

Maplewoodshop has empowered thousands of students across the country to learn woodworking through hands-on, school-based programs that teach real skills, build confidence, and spark creativity. Now, we’re bringing that experience to life in a whole new way with the launch of Maplewoodshop Studios—our first-ever public studio space designed just for kids.

Located in Montclair, New Jersey, MWS Studios offers dynamic woodworking workshops, camps, and creative events where kids use real tools to build real projects in a safe, supportive environment. It’s a space where children can explore, invent, and proudly take home what they’ve made—while learning practical skills they’ll carry with them for life.
