Woodworking Classes for 1st-5th Graders
Learn to saw, hammer, and drill with real tools
We believe that kids of all ages learn best by doing, trying, and figuring out solutions to problems that arise. In this small, safe, supervised class, kids will learn essential woodworking skills including sawing, hammering, and drilling by creating a variety of projects.
For kids who have never used a tool or kids who have some experience, we will ladder skills so that each child can learn and grow not only as a woodworker, but as a confident, caring person.
Build your own toys including Jenga style blocks, a tooltote and string art with hammers and nails. Grow creativity, learn hand tools, and gain confidence!
Two teachers will be on hand to work with this multi-age group; one will work with the 1st-2nd graders and one will work with the 3rd-5th graders. Each group will have age appropriate tools and projects, making the class just right for each kid!
Spring classes start April 27 and run for 8 weeks.
Pro-rated single classes are also available if you are not able to come to all or want to join mid session. See below for date options
