The Maplewoodshop Program brings the benefits of woodworking to today’s youth, improving attendance and graduation rates, reversing learning loss, and encouraging career exploration.

We provide everything you need — equipment, tools, materials, training, and curriculum — to motivate and inspire young people.

Watch how we do it in 60 seconds!

Learn how it works

Any classroom can transform into a dynamic woodworking space that fosters creativity, empowerment, and accomplishment.

We Train your staff.

Our training program blends digital and in-person training for your teachers. Teachers watch videos and take quizzes on our online learning platform prior to in-person training. After the training, your teachers complete any projects they will do with their students.

We equip you with all you need.

Turn your current classroom into a hand-tool woodshop in minutes. Empower students to help with set up and clean up. All hand tools come with safety gear, safety posters, and tool instruction to create a mindful and safe environment.

We support you every step of the way.

Our lesson plans, that align with national standards, bring your classroom or after-school program to life. They allow you to teach STEM and other curriculum in an interesting and engaging way! We also support you via email and phone support.

Transform any space into a functioning woodshop.
